Today I want to show the first Pickin & Grinnin video! First go to the radio and pause it by clicking the first "button" starting on the left under the title. You need to do this-so you can hear the video.
If you have dreaded dial up service (like I do)-I would suggest you click the button to start the video and then go clean house, take a shower, watch t.v. or sing to yourself in the bathroom. This is to prevent you from going crazy waiting on the video to download. Once it has downloaded then you can start it back to the beginning and watch it through.
The song is "El Condor Pasa" its a Simon and Garfunkel song. I really love it and hope you do too.
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Just click on the word "comments" down below and follow the directions.
Tipper
p.s. I hope you are collecting tips, sayings and memories about gardening. And thank you to all the ones who have already left some great ones!

Hi Tipper,
I watched both videos but knew my vote would have to go to the most adoring fan of Tony Rice. Guitarman gets my vote:) I will be looking forward to seeing more of him and Mandolinman in the future..looks as though they both have a good one ahead of them.

Loved it! I remember the original song, it's so nice to hear it again in a slightly different way. And it looks like they're having FUN!!

I meant to comment on this video yesterday - this was a real treat - loved it! Do you play locally?

This was so wonderful...just to see that families still do this together. I remember my father playing the harmonica and squeeze box with his brothers. Brings back great memories. I agree with everyone...I could listen to this all day. The mandolin was great.

the boys want to watch this on repeat all day...must be the Appalachians in their blood. That and the fabulousness of it all of course.

What I like the best: that it shows 3 generations playing together. Excellent. Thank you for sharing.

Tipper, it is remarkable what you have done with a dial up connection. I can't begin to imagine what all you would do if Verizon ever gets your high speed connected!!
The guys are great, oh and is that Chitter and Chatter I see in the background?
How does your family feel about being on the Internet? I bet the young ones, especially, are pretty excited about it.
This is a wonderful view of family values in Appalachia!
Thank you.

Very good. Nice song. The young fellow on the mandolin is pretty good. They all are good. Your brothers guitar is pretty cool also.
I sure enjoyed your blog. It was just like taking a journey.

In a word, AWESOME! Seriously, I could sit and listen to them sing and play all evening long. The music is beautiful, and the harmonizing is excellent. They are really good!
Oh, and lucky me, I have high speed cable internet connection.
