Excerpt from The Cloud by Percy Bysshe Shelley
I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers,
From the seas and the streams;
I bear light shade for the leaves when laid
In their noonday dreams.
From my wings are shaken the dews that waken
The sweet buds every one,
When rocked to rest on their mothers's breast,
As she dances about the sun.
I wield the flail of the lashing hail,
And whiten the green plains under;
And then again I dissolve it in rain,
And laugh as I pass in thunder.
by Percy Bysshe Shelley
These are the kinds of clouds I've been seeing lately-what kind have you been seeing?

BEAUTIFUL pictures!!! Love the clouds. You've seen lots of my clouds. They'll be leaving soon, leaving us with crystal clear skies. We were gone for a week, and 3 of those days I was at a Convention and didn't take one sky picture. When I was finished it seemed like it had been forever since I'd looked at the sky!

We've been keeping a close eye on our clouds hoping they don't hold anymore rain for a while. Pappy

Stunning pictures! We'd love some of your clouds over here in Georgia--the drought continues to drag along.
Have a great week!

I love looking at clouds! One of our very fist dates (Josh and I) was spent watching clouds. This was largely because we didn't have any money but it stands out in my memory as one of the most beautiful days of my life.
Great post!
Blessings!

I've seem some really beautiful fluffy clouds playing around the mountain tops. I love to sit in my sun room and watch the trees and the sky.
However---I must say none as lovely as the smiles and laughter on Chitter, Chatter, and Cheddar. Beautiful girls, are they really as sweet as they look??

What beautiful pictures - and a wonderful poem. Unfortunately, I've not been seeing clouds. It's hot here - over 100 every day - and we haven't had rain in a couple of weeks. I will definitely rejoice when it comes. Blessings, marlene

What a lovely post and the pictures to go with it were perfect. We had storm clouds today. The thunder was so loud it shook the building and made me jump. Sky is still gray, but everything is very bright. xxoo

Hello Tipper! Beautiful poem and accompanying images! The girls laughing exactly at the line "and laugh as I pass in thunder." Beautiful post. It's been raining here or heavy with rain clouds this past week. It almost seems blasphemous not to enjoy any form of clouds after reading the poem. Petra :))
