I am loving that acorn story Tipper. Congrats to Dana. Thanks for letting all of us peek at your lives.

Congratulations to Dana.
And Congratulations to Chatter for having the greatest Mom ever. What a wonderful post. The imagination of a child is an amazing thing. Chitter and Chatter are lucky to have mom who nurtures that spark so it can grow!!

Tipper, did you do that painting on a wood shingle? I like it and I love the acorn story. It's amazing how a child's simplicity can reach out and smack us into reality of what's important every now and again. Although I never had any children I've always tried to pay special attention to my nieces, nephews, friend's kids, etc. Out of the mouths of the babes come some of the more profound statements I've heard, and some of the most fun games were ones made up with little ones.

Congrats to Dana.

Helen

You do a consistently good job of entertaing us with song and story. You really have a world of talent. Keep up the good work. Pappy

What a fun acorn story from Chitter an Chatter!! So sweet. That's a lovely painting, congrats to Dana!

Thanks Tipper! Those *are* beautiful acorns! I love nuts. I always pick up chestnuts and stash them in drawers and pockets and things.

I like the painting and the story.

Congratulations Dana, thank you, Tipper for this beautiful site. I visit often. I am enjoying the Christmas music so much. The acorn story reminded me of my little sister and her "Little Pillow". She drug that thing everywhere and we even had to go back home to get when we started out on vacation, lol, I am sure Daddy loved that.
Take care, Terry

Congratulations Dana!

Loved the story about Wilson and Judy. Reminds me of my niece J who was attached to a bear that had a face on one side and a face on the other whom she named Bear-Bear. Oh my goodness! If he became misplaced the child freaked! Bear-Bear spent most of his time in my pocket when we were together. I was the only one entrusted to hold him too.

Tipper, thanks for the shout-out about the snowflake pattern. Glad Granny is enjoying it. xxoo

Pretty angel (as usual), and I love the crochet ornaments. Happy beginning of the season!

Judy and Wilson--how cute is that??
:)

Congrats Dana!!

I have a Wilson too. Mine is an
oregano planter. The planter has handles in the places where ears should be.Every spring Wilson gets a hair cut so he looks like that volleyball( or a Chia Pet). By the end of summer he looks more like Bob Marley.

Thanks for reminding me to slow down with my child.

Tipper: What a neat post with a great story of the acorns. Every time I see a giveaway my heart goes back to your being such a sharing person. I'm always so happy I found this site and also a friend at the same time.

Love your posts and the pic!

Evening Tipper! What an interesting history of why the acorn has become so special. Love the story behind your painting
"Wilson and Judy" and how the acorn meant so much to Chatter.
Not unusual for children to become attached to the most unlikely objects. Beautiful post, and thank you right back at you, Tipper!

what a sweet story.

Congratulations, Dana!
Love the acorn story, Tipper.
I know what its like to turn the house upside down looking for something. It's like a needle in a haystack. And usually it's right there under our noses.
