I've never had this one but I've cooked plenty of Zuccuni Bread this summer.. I'll have to try this, looks delicious..Thanks Tipper.

Tipper,
That cake looks good! Perhaps if I
lived next door, I could be your
Cake Sampler, before you put it on
the air. Got to get this receipe
for sometime later. I didn't raise
any zucinnis this year but I know
where they're located in the Gro.
Store...Ken

I make a chocolate zucchini cake all the time. Mine doesn't have honey, but it does have lots of chocolate chips!! I make mine in a 13 by 9 pan, that way I only have 1 pan to wash! LOL

I did have zucchini/chocolate brownies once and they were very yummy! However, I try hard to not eat any baked sweets or high sugar foods since I am in my middle years and it is definitely beginning to creep beyond that area :-D . I have a real, sweets loving friend that will absolutely adore this recipe! She has a young boy and this one will help her justify all that sugar. BTW, for those that wish to stay away from 'genetically modified' foods they might wish to support our Southern producers and use only cane sugar instead of beet sugar for all of their sweet recipes.

I like the sound of this recipe: easy, contains chocolate and hides the vegies from the kids. Thanks!

Pam

Tipper,
I love Z cake, bread, and other quiche and casseroles...
I have made Chocolate several times but didn't use honey in the recipe...I think honey would make a difference in the taste and texture. I happen to love a moist Z cake and bread...
Thanks Tipper, for the recipe.....and Uncle Al..I never peel my zucchini
before grating for cake, patties etc...I like the look of the little green pieces that tell me it is a Z cake, bread etc...

Al-no you dont need to peel it : )

Oh, my! I could sure use a slice of that cake right now. It sounds and looks so delicious. I have never had this cake. It looks like a 'must try!;

May have to give this one a try. A question comes to mind for this novice. Do you peel the zuchini before shredding?

Haven't before but am going to try it for after school snack today! Thanks, Tipper.

Tipper, you've developed quite an eye for cake recipes. This on sounds delicious, sounds like something I'd like.

When I did more cake baking I had several recipes I used that were always hits. I was not nearly adventuresome as you.
