A big Thank you to all the folks who made it out to our Friday night concert at the JCCFS. It was so nice to see you in person. The show went well too-we played to a packed house-with people standing around the edges of the room. The rest of the gang do such a good job-it's easy for me to sit and pretend I know what I'm doing.
For those of you who weren't able to make it-here's a little taste of the show. (*Before you watch the video you need to stop the music player-the music controls are along the top of this page on the far left side-just above the Blind Pig logo. Click the center round button to stop the player)
Since I was sitting on the other end of the stage-I didn't realize Chitter was sitting so far back from the rest of us-sorta looks like she was put in the corner for acting up.
The Blind Pig Gang will be back on the festival barn stage later today-2:00pm-at the JCCFS's Fall festival. Be sure to say HELLO if you make it to the show.
Tipper

Love it!
Soooo wish I could have been there!

Thanks for the video! I hope the clog/tap number came off well too? We sure did hate to miss the festival - all of the music, fun and art. Hope you had a great time. Chitter was a bit by her lonesome.

It truly was a stunning performance. The girls really are coming into their voices and they are beautiful voices!
Pap and Paul were outstanding. There is something so sweet about Pap's voice and manner. Paul was very strong in his voice.
AND Tipper, set the pace very solidly.
Overall Id give them an A+ for the performance!!

Tipper,
Talk about some COOL folks on
stage performing, I don't know
how you all performed so great.
I was sitting beside a pretty
lady part of the time, but Miss
Cindy didn't even look cold. And
those are the hardest bails of
hay I ever seen. It sure does
help to be a friend to Tipper,
cause she got me one of those
Folk School barbeques to enjoy
before their show. Thank you!
Where in the world can you go
and have that much fun for 5
dollars? Hope Pap is OK...Ken

PS
The girls (grandgirl) here just won their first fast-pitch game of the season, YEA! and my daughter-in-law had a great 40th birthday dinner...last night!

Thanks again for a song of vision.

Absolutely beautiful!

Just had a wild idea! If Pap and Paul would doff their caps it could be "The Pressley Girls and Onion Station." Not to leave out the bassist, she could just Tip her's.

I was listening to Alison Krauss last night when your music player wasn't working and thinking "if she sounded a little more like The Pressley Girls she might just make something of herself!"

There were times the other night when I'd have sworn I was hearing a young Alison Krauss. Susan turned around to me after "On Heaven's Bright Shore" and said:
"They just get better every time you hear them."
They surely do.
