Christmas @ the Blind Pig house was full of joy! There was...
cell phones (aren't there always cell phones these days?);
cool jars-perfect for storing rocks and beads in;
lovely new area rugs for each girls new room;
chapstick and Old Red Barn Company soap;
there was the tradition of putting Christmas stockings on your feet and acting like morons;
deep fried chicken and slow baked deer roast;
there was 2 Yalies home from college for us to enjoy spending time with;
tall tales told by this bunch;
sweaters, sweaters, and more sweaters;
there was watching The Pressley Girls on tv;
and believe it or not there was even acorns-crocheted by Granny.
At the end of Christmas Day, Granny allowed it was the best Christmas we had ever had. I totally agreed with her.
